Individual Psychotherapy

Home / Individual Psychotherapy

Individual counselling and psychotherapy is a process through which we can begin to work collaboratively in a safe, caring, and confidential environment to explore your feelings, beliefs, behaviors and challenging or influential memories. Through this process we can begin to identify aspects of your life that you would like to change, to better understand yourself, better understand your relationships with others, set personal goals, or simply work towards a desired change.

Counselling and psychotherapy usually involves one hour sessions at the same time and day each week. This provides structure and containment for the process. Therapy involves both client and therapist working together to understand the issues presented in a safe, trusting and confidential space.

I work with Minors 16+ and Adults. I am experienced in working with a broad range of issues including but not limited to: Adoption, Anxiety, Bereavement & Loss, Carers/Disabilities, Depression, Domestic Abuse, Family Addiction, Self Harm, Suicidal Ideation/Feeling, Relationship Issues, Sexual Abuse & Trauma.

If you, or someone you care about is struggling with any of the these issues, my therapy service can help.
